Safeguarding Week 2025

Safeguarding Week runs annually and is promoted and supported by the Ann Craft Trust (opens new window).
This is a time for organisations to come together to raise awareness of important safeguarding issues. The aim is to highlight key safeguarding issues, start conversations and raise awareness of safeguarding best practice.
Gateshead Safeguarding Adults Board and Gateshead Safeguarding Children Partnership and are once again joining together during the national adults Safeguarding Week 2025, to raise awareness about safeguarding both children and adults and showing the importance of "safeguarding being everyone's business".
